West Fargo Public Library

In the age of the internet and digital technology the library of today is at a crossroads. The role of the library has been redefined by advances and developments outside of itself. It can no longer survive as merely a repository of printed knowledge. This proposal brings the library into the modern age. This is more than a library, it is a place for public gathering. Featuring a coffee shop, an atrium populated with citrus trees, cafe tables, internet access, indoor and outdoor lounge spaces, and community meeting rooms in addition to the more common features of a public library, this is a place for community.
