An expression of the primitive place-type of shelter. Situated near Mud Lake, Minnesota, it is a place of refuge from everyday life, but the interconnected nature of the spaces, through plan and intersecting roof panels, maintains a physical tie to those in the neighboring spaces, to the idea of civilization and community.
